Homeside Hospice is Medicare and Medicaid certified and licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health. See all of our memberships and accreditations. Our service area covers most of New Jersey, and in addition to providing care in an individual's private home, we provide care in group homes, assisted living facilities and nursing homes throughout the state. What do we do?The mission of Homeside Hospice is to provide physical, emotional, social and spiritual support to terminally ill patients, as well as their families and loved ones, while assisting patients and families to live with dignity and comfort as they cope with end of life issues. Homeside Hospice provides specialized health care services that focus on pain relief, symptom control, comfort and support for terminally ill patients. Our goal is to provide individuals with the highest possible level of physical, emotional, spiritual and practical support necessary during this time. Who Is Eligible For Hospice Care?Individuals with a limited life expectancy who desire to receive palliative (comfort) and supportive care and no longer wish to pursue aggressive treatments, are eligible for hospice services. Hospice care is available to persons with heart disease, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer, AIDS and many other life-limiting illness. Are Hospice Service Costs Covered By Insurance?
