Homeside Hospice is Medicare certified and licensed by the New Jersey Department of Health and is a member of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO) and the New Jersey Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NJHPCO). Our service area is Central and North Jersey and we have contracts with a number of nursing homes in these areas. What do we do?Homeside Hospice provides:
Homeside Hospice provides specialized health care services that focus on pain relief, symptom control, comfort and support for terminally ill patients. Our goal is to provide individuals with the highest possible level of physical, emotional, spiritual and practical support necessary during this time. Who Is Eligible For Hospice Care?Individuals with a limited life expectancy, months rather than years, who desire to receive palliative (comfort) and supportive care and no longer wish to pursue treatments designed to cure a health condition, are eligible for hospice. Hospice care is available to persons with heart disease, kidney disease, Alzheimer’s, cancer, AIDS and any other life-limiting illness. Are Hospice Service Costs Covered By Insurance?
