- Homeside Hospice is looking for volunteer knitters, weavers, and sewers to make
Lap Blankets,
(Prayer) Shawls (see
http://www.shawlministry.com/instructions.html for knitting directions),
and other items for our patients.
Handmade shawls and blankets provide not only physical warmth, but emotional warmth as well.
Patients and their families are always appreciative of the gift.
- Your blankets and shawls will be stocked by HH and donated by HH staff to our terminally ill patients
- As a volunteer you will also contribute knitting, weaving and sewing hours
- HH is establishing the Butterfly Wishes non-profit foundation.
You may donate your goods to the foundation as a tax-deduction
